Today, we are excited to introduce you to a brand called, "Be on D." Be on D is a brand considered as one of the larger group of stationery brands in South Korea, and they are well known and popular for their diaries, pocket binders, photocard collect albums, and photocard holders. While our collection from this brand is still limited, each product offers a great experience that has made Be on D one of our favorites.
Be on D started its brand with a desire to create products that bring warmth and positivity to the audience who will be using their products. Be on D is more than just a stationery brand, and we think this factor is well shown in the meaning behind their brand name.
Their brand name holds two meanings to it, and the first meaning is, "Be on" as being in a state of something, and the "D" stands for Dream. Together, it means "being on a dream," hoping their audience to feel dreamy and happy as people use their products. The second meaning comes from its pronunciation and the sound of the brand name "Be on D." When it's pronounced in a Korean accent, the meaning of the brand name is translated as "after the rain." As the sun comes up bright and shines after the rain, Be on D wishes to be a brand that brightens up its audience's day with happiness and joy.
Be on D's thought comes from the belief that everyone carries a dream in their hearts, and with a little encouragement, those dreams can brighten the world. The brand aspires to be like a trusted friend, always by your side, offering comfort and support.
As a brand, Be on D has poured its heart into creating products that not only bring joy but also inspire and uplift those who use them. From design to creation, every detail is carefully crafted to ensure that each item reflects the positive energy and warmth the brand stands for.
As Be on D wishes to produce products that will uplift and fulfill people's everyday needs and use, they have collaborated with various artists throughout planning and creating each one of their product designs. Among those many artists Be on D has worked with, there are a few artists that the brand constantly works with, which the main artist named, "Manae," who manages nearly everything for the shop, managing each product/project between the artists and the brand. A few other talented artists Be on D worked with are "Yun," who has been refining the "Starry Days" and "Dot Your Day" planners since 2018, and "An," who has been shaping the "Opening Sequence" diary since 2021 with her cinematic and thoughtfully crafted themes.
